What a great video, but I’m surprised how many women are rescuing bats. Although they are cute and cuddly. It just seems unusual, perhaps a ‘male’ interest. However females are usually better nurturers❣️❣️❣️

Someone needs to glow in the dark paint barbed wire that cant be removed maybe? The tape is a good idea but they have a lot of new materials and gadgets on amazon and home improvement stores that might make the jobs a little easier. Bat carers are like stylists and have to be creative and resourceful and a nurse, mum, scientist, and all around super hero.

My idiot cousin bought one it looked pitch black, and the fur was so shiny. He kept it in a bird cage. He would let it fly and just hang out anywhere in the house. It was a basic home, I was little, but I knew enough to know that he shouldn't be having a big a$$ puppy with wings loose in the house like that.

If I lived in Australia, this is exactly what I would be doing. I have immense respect for these people who devote their lives to preserving the native species, especially bats, that are so essential to the ecosystems they live in.🖤🇨🇦

So wonderful to see such an amazing setup for the flying-foxes in need of care. They are such beautiful and important creatures. Terri is like most of the bat rescue people I have encountered…passionate and caring, and so in love with the bats.🖤🇨🇦

This woman is a modern day saint. On the top of my bucket list is a (minimum) three-month volunteer trip to a facility like this to attempt the tiniest fraction of the good that angels like this beautiful woman do on a daily basis. I started to say that it makes me want to leave my whole life behind and move to Australia to dedicate my life to this cause... then I saw the last comment (from @FrankPSF) was exactly that! What an inspiration! Terrie, you are an angel on earth. I don't know if you believe in an afterlife - but if you do... you can count on a hush among all in heaven when you enter those gates.
